A family tree is essentially a virtual tree that you use to show the connections within your family. Your name will appear at the bottom, but you can add your spouse’s name and the name(s) of your kid(s). The branches above your name will show your parents’ names and their birth dates, but you may want to add the date of their marriage too. You can then create new branches to show any siblings that you have as well as their kids and spouses. The upper branches of your tree will show the names of your parents and any other relatives you want to add.
